They will help make your guests feel included, as well as keeping them informed as to what is happening and to introduce them to the bridal party. Do you need a wedding program?
It isnt an essential requirement to have a wedding program and wedding etiquette will not tell to have one. But for some wedding ceremonies they are considered a necessary extra. Such occasions can include:

* You are having a traditional or religious ceremony and a number of your guests are of a different religion or culture.
* Your wedding is large and you will have a number of guests who do not know the bridal party.
* Your ceremony will quite long and guests will have to be prepared for a long wait.

  If there is one thing that is universal, it has to be love. But the way that people express their love is as diverse as the polars. Every culture has its own unique way of going about wedding ceremonies. From the bizarre to the nobly, wedding traditions are a whole subject of study and admiration. Below are some of the most unique wedding traditions from around the world.


Africa

Probably the most unique aspect African wedding tradition is the payment of dowry. A groom has to bring to the brides father a specified number of domestic animals like cattle, goat, camels, etc for him to get the permission to marry the daughter. In other parts of Africa a marriage can be arranged before the bride or even groom is born.

Asia

In this expansive continent, traditions are so much diverse littered with ancient traditions. But one of the most poignant is the Chinese one where the bridal gown is screaming red, and a gift of a whole roast pig has to be given to the brides father beforehand.

  Vietnam is an all-year-round green country set in the south east part of Asia well known for its large forests, mountains and the beautiful beaches making it a perfect wedding destination. Its people have a strong sense of culture and traditions which govern the marriage docket. There have been major changes in marriage practices that make the traditional and the modern marriages quite different.


Dating and courtship partners were usually chosen by elders or parents. Young people could break their relationships if the parents felt that the other partner was unsuitable for their son or daughter. Some could seek advice from seers who would determine if the marriage will be a success or not. However, recent times have seen people shifting away from these customs and letting their children choose their marriage partners.
